Meet Jessica Leach!
Jessica started here at Cooper Vet in April of 2007. She has a BS in Biology from ULM. Jessica’s house is always full of animals. She has a passion for fostering animals. Rescue is a large part of her life and always wants it to stay that way. She works closely with rescues in the area to give animals the chance they deserve! She says nothing gives her greater joy than hearing from the forever home of a pet she helped and hearing how good they are doing. Outside of work and animal rescue, Jessica can be found reading, writing, watching Hulu, and cuddling with all her fur babies!
Meet Kimberly Rayner!
Kimberly started working at Cooper Vet in July of 2002! The thing she loves most about her job is the diversity of animals that we get to care for here. She doesn’t necessarily have a favorite animal that she enjoys over others, however she does favor exotics more! She has enjoyed all the years and experience allowing her to teach her son, Dillon about all the different species. Currently, Kim has three dogs, Lola, Hank, and China, five cats, Kahleesie, Shadowfax, Ninja, Ema, Black, and one ball python! Outside of work, Kim can be found enjoying a good book, watching movies, and horseback riding in her spare time.
Meet McKenzie Pittman!
McKenzie earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a focus in large animal from Louisiana Tech in 2017. Animals have always been her passion, but her main love and focus has always been horses. She is married to a wonderful husband and has two dogs, Annie and Bailey. She enjoys riding horses, spending time with her husband and going to church. She started at Cooper Vet in May of 2017 shortly after graduating college.
Meet Carrie Kinard!
Carrie moved to Louisiana from NE Texas and started working here in 2017, but she has been volunteering here at Cooper Vet during any school break and summers since she was 10 years old! Now she is attending Louisiana Tech University working on a major in Animal Science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine. Carrie says what she enjoys most about her job is the opportunities to learn and the diversity of species she gets to work with, especially exotics. While not at work, Carrie can be found helping out at Louisiana Tech, studying, or doing anything outdoors. She loves spending time with her family, her Mini Aussie, Finnigan and her cat, Weebles.
Meet John Michael Stalling!
John Michael is currently attending Louisiana Tech University working on a major in Animal Science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine. He is from Oak Grove, La where he was raised on a thousand-head cattle operation. Both of his parents migrated from Guatemala. In his free time John Michael enjoys helping out at La Tech in one of the many clubs and organizations he is in, and spending time with his family. He started working here in 2016 and says that his favorite thing about this job is the learning experience it provides and getting to see diverse species and procedures.

Meet Marion Adams!
Marion started working at Cooper Vet in 2018. She has a BS in Animal Science. While not at Cooper Vet, you can find Marion also working at the Animal Emergency Clinic of West Monroe. In her free time, Marion enjoys camping, kayaking, and hiking. She enjoys the company of her 4 dogs, June (chiweenie), Colt (Catahoula Cur Mix), Rocko (Boxer mix) and the newest member, Jack Black the lab. She also has a persian cat named Adi.
Meet Heather Humble!
Heather started working at Cooper Vet in 2018. She has been married since 2010 to her husband, Courtney. Together, they have 3 precious, sweet kitties, Zeus, Sunshine, and Killer. Heather has been working with animals since 2010. In her free time, Heather can be found reading and playing with her kitties. She loves enjoying a good book while listening to the rain and cuddling with her cats.
