Vet Assistants

Meet Jessica Leach!

Jessica started here at Cooper Vet in April of 2007. She has a BS in Biology from ULM. Jessica’s house is always full of animals. She has a passion for fostering animals. Rescue is a large part of her life and always wants it to stay that way. She works closely with rescues in the area to give animals the chance they deserve! She says nothing gives her greater joy than hearing from the forever home of a pet she helped and hearing how good they are doing. Outside of work and animal rescue, Jessica can be found reading, writing, watching Hulu, and cuddling with all her fur babies!

Meet Kimberly Rayner!

Kimberly started working at Cooper Vet in July of 2002! The thing she loves most about her job is the diversity of animals that we get to care for here. She doesn’t necessarily have a favorite animal that she enjoys over others, however she does favor exotics more! She has enjoyed all the years and experience allowing her to teach her son, Dillon about all the different species. Currently, Kim has three dogs, Lola, Hank, and China, five cats, Kahleesie, Shadowfax, Ninja, Ema, Black, and one ball python! Outside of work, Kim can be found enjoying a good book, watching movies, and horseback riding in her spare time.
